GEARY

Herbert J. Geary, 76, of West Union Street, Somerset, died March 10, 1975,
in New Port Richey, Florida.  Born March 19, 1898, in Frostburg, Md., a son
of the late Joseph P. and Cora (Lewis) Geary.  Preceded in death by his
first wife, the former Ersula McCleta and three brothers.  Survived by his
widow, the former Marion (Schrock) Baldwin and these children: Mrs. Telford
(Juanita) Hagans and Mrs. Paul (Joy) Sigmund both of Stoystown; Mrs.
Kazimier (Jane) Chlebda, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. James (Beverly) Fry, Fort
Lauderdale, Fla.; Herbert Jr. of Waldorf, Md.; John W. and William G. both
of Somerset; and Mrs. Larry (Linda) Berkey, Hooversville; a step-son,
Theodore Baldwin, Dover, Dela.; 23 grandchildren, 11 great grand-children;
and two sisters: Mrs. Cora Pollock and Mrs. Phillip Miller, both of Mt.
Savage, Md.  Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, FOE, and UMWA. 
Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Tuesday (today) in the Richard E.
Hauger Funeral Home where service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday
with Rev. Richard Shellenberger officiating.  Interment, Center Lutheran
Cemetery.
