Savage, Md., died Thursday, July 28, 1994, at the Frostburg Village Nursing Home, Frostburg, Md. Born Oct. 25, 1912 in Mt. Savage, Md., she was a daughter of the late Charles and Hanna (Corfield) Baker. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur C. Geary, who died Nov. 23, 1958; a son, Ronald W. Geary; two grandsons, Dale A. Geary II and Lonnie W. Geary; and three sisters, Patience Jacobs, Gladys Baker and Beulah Ford. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Geary was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Savage United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Dale A. Geary and wife Betty Lou, Glencoe, and Charles L. Geary and wife, Gloria, Mount Savage; two daughters, Margaret Dean and husband Ralph, Short Gap, V.Va. (sic); and Mary Sweitzer and husband James, Mount Savage; a daughter-in-law, Mary Virginia Geary, Glencoe; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Services will be conducted at the Mt. Savage United Methodist Church on Sunday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Richard C. Broome Jr. officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Robison, Arthur Ford, Donald Miller, Timothy Geary, Ralph Pollack and Paul Olesnevich.
