GEARY

Thomas H. Geary, 60, of Champion RD 1, died Wednesday, May 20, 1987, of
injuries at his place of work.  Born Oct. 15, 1926, on Champion, the son of
Luzetta (Lohr) Geary of Champion RD 1 and the late Jacob Geary.  A lifelong
Champion area resident, he was employed as a lumberman for the Harold
Donaldson Lumber Co.  He was a social member of the Donegal American Legion
and attended the Indian Head Church of God.  In addition to his mother, he
is survived by his wife, Margaret Ellen (Donaldson) Geary; a son, Mark
Thomas Geary of Ebensburg; and a daughter, Mrs. Neil (Sandy) Hoffman of
Somerset; two grandchildren; three brothers: Claire Geary, Champion RD 1;
Allen Geary, Normalville; and Bernard Geary of Louisiana; and a sister,
Mrs. Eugene (Edith) Miller of Normalville.  In addition to his father, he
was preceded in death by an infant daughter and a brother, James Geary. 
Friends received from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the Clyde Brooks Funeral
Home Inc., Route 711, Melcroft, where service will be held 11 a.m.
Saturday, with Dr. G. Marion Smith officiating.  Interment, Normalville
Cemetery, Normalville.
