JACOB E. GEIGER

  Jacob E. Geiger, 86, of Larimer Township, died Sunday in the Wenzel Hospital 
here after an extended illness.  He was a son of Henry and Lucy (Lint) Geiger 
and was born in Larimer Township, where he operated a farm for many years.
  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Malinda Bittner Geiger, and these children: 
William Geiger, Moultrie, O.; Mrs. E. F. Petenbrick, Scottdale; Mrs. Susan 
Stinley, Avilton, Md.; Mrs. Harvey Petenbrink, Sand Patch; Mrs. John 
Merschbaker, Canton, O., and Mrs. Louis Bittner, Scottdale.  Also surviving are 
21 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Ezra and Henry 
Geiger, both of Sand Patch.
  Following short services at the house funeral services were conducted at 2:30 
o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the White Oak Church by Rev. S. D. Sigler of 
Salisbury.  Burial was in the church cemetery.
