She was born on Nov. 20, 1870, a daughter of John and Margaret (Glotfelty) Lowry. Surviving are her husband, Ezra Geiger; four sons, John H. and Harvey A., both of the Sand Patch district; Walter H., Corriganville, Md., and Irvin, Mt. Savage, Md. - and one daughter, Mrs. Marline Shockey, Sand Patch, R.D. 1. She also leaves 44 grandchildren, two brothers - William Lowry, Akron, O., and John E. Lowry, Cuyahoga Falls, O. - and three sisters - Mrs. W. W. Miller and Mrs. Sherman Bittner, both of Meyersdale R.D. 3, and Mrs. Sarah Beitle, Wadsworth, O. She was a very devoted wife and mother, and kind neighbor. Mrs. Geiger was a lifelong member of the White Oak Lutheran Church, where funeral services were conducted at 2:30 this (Thursday) afternoon by Rev. George E. Bowersox, pastor of the Salisbury Lutheran Church. Burial in the church cemetery was directed by W. C. Price & Son, Meyersdale morticians. Meyersdale Republican, August 9, 1945
