GEIGER Ralph James Geiger, son of Henry and Sarah Suder Geiger, died at the home of his parents, near White Oak, on Saturday night, at 11:45 o'clock, November 26th, after a brief illness of typhoid fever. He was born in Larimer Township, December 13, 1903, and at the time of his death was 28 years, 11 months and 13 days old. Ralph was the only surviving son of his parents, two other brothers preceding him in death in recent years. He was a popular member of the Meyersdale Citizens Band, playing a trombone. He was a farmer by trade and a young man of fine character. Surviving are his parents and these sisters: Mrs. William Weimer, of Deal; Mrs. Dewey Smith, of Wittenburg; Mrs. Glenn Bittner and Leora and Edna Geiger, living with their parents. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Lutheran Church at white Oak, in charge of the pastor, Rev. Samuel D. Sigler, of Salisbury, followed by interment in the White Oak cemetery, in charge of W. C. Price. Meyersdale Republican, December 1, 1932
