SUSAN A. GEIGER

  Mrs. Susan A. (Suder) Geiger, 69, wife of Henry Geiger, died at her home at 
Deal, Larimer Township, Friday morning, Jan. 21.  Her health has been failing 
for quite a long while, but she had been bedfast for only two weeks.
  She was a daughter of Peter and Sarah (Deeter) Suder and was born in Somerset 
County on Sept. 19, 1874.
  In addition to her husband she leaves five daughters - Mrs. William Weimer, 
Sand Patch; Mrs. Dewey Smith, Mt. Savage, Md.; Mrs. Carl Miller, Pocahontas; 
Mrs. Glenn Bittner, Sand Patch, and Mrs. Glenn Otto, Springs.  Three sons and 
one daughter preceded her in death.
  Surviving also are 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two brothers 
and four sisters - Henry Suder, Meyersdale, R.D. 1; George Suder, Boston, Mass.; 
Mrs. Charles Fair, Connellsville; Mrs. George Wetmiller, Berlin; Mrs. Harry 
Housel, Meyersdale, and Mrs. C. J. Twigg, Cumberland, Md.
  Mr. and Mrs. Geiger lived and reared their large family on a farm near Deal, 
but two years ago sold the farm and retired to a home they bought in the village 
of Deal.
  Mrs. Geiger was a lifelong member of the White Oak Reformed Church, where 
funeral services were very largely attended, and there were many floral 
tributes.  Interment was in White Oak Cemetery, under direction of W. C. Price & 
Son.
