  GELSTHORPE
  
  Bernice S. Gelsthorpe, 69, South Center Avenue, Somerset, died Dec. 26,
  1985, at Somerset Community Hospital.  Bgelsorn Jan. 18, 1916, in Mt. Pleasant,
  she was a daughter of the late Norman and Nettie (Muhlenberg) Suter. 
  Preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.  Survived by one son,
  Gary L., Godfrey, Ill.; four grandchildren;  and two sisters, Naomi Lamb,
  Mt. Pleasant, and Dorthalene Rose, Pittsburgh.  She was a retired regitered
  nurse and worked in the H. C. Frick community Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, and
  Somerset Community Hospital.  She retired from Somerset State Hospital in
  1978.  Friends will be received from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Saturday in the Robert
  H. Halverson Funeral Home where memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m.
  with the Rev. Greg Anderson.  Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery, Godfrey,
  Ill.
