Born Feb. 27, 1906, in Jenner Township, daughter of Arthur A. and Cora (Wiand) Beam. Preceded in death by parents, stepmother, Bessie Mae (Steck) Beam, first husband, Lewis H. Trible, May 17, 1965; second husband, C. Jacob Georg, Dec. I, 1975; daughter, Mary Lou Thomas, March 15, 1986; grandson, Joel Bradley Hay and stepbrother, Francis Steck. Survived by son, William A. Trible. Tampa, Fla.; daughter, Janet Lee, wife of James R. Hay, Jennerstown; former son-in-law, James Thomas, Ellicott City, Md.; grandchildren, Michele, wife of John Veasey, Fulton, Md.; and Michael Thomas, Gaithersburg, Md. great- grandchildren, Patricia and Steven Veasey; stepchildren, Gretchen, wife of H. Eugene Kline and Eric Georg, married to Lynn Hoffman, both of York; several step-grandchildren and a step-sister, Vanessa Mason, Philadelphia. Member of St. Andrew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Boswell, California State College Alumni, N.E.A. and P.S.A.R. Life-member of the Pennsylvania Retired Teachers' Association, both state and county organizations Graduate of the former Boswell High School, was the last living graduate of California State College Class of 1927. Attended Penn State University and the University of Miami, Fla. Since retirement, served as membership chairman for PSEA in Somerset County. Retired area school teacher with 39 years service, having served 12 rears as principal of the former Gray Elementary School. Taught two years for the I.U. 08 Gifted Program, also taught for the P.O. Peterson Writing Co. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday; with the Rev. John K. Timm officiating. Interment, Lutheran Cemetery, Jennerstown. Memorials to the Somerset Area Elementary School Library, Eagle View School, 191 Discovery Drive, Somerset, Pa. 15501.
