Blanset George, 92, Annapolis, Md., formerly of Stoystown, died June 15, 1997, at the Anne Arundel Medical Center, Annapolis. Born April 30, 1905, 1905, in Bedford County, Pa. Was a homemaker. Lived most of her life in Stoystown, where she and her first husband, H. W. Blanset, operated a milk transport business for 50 years. Also preceded in death by second husband, Ralph A. George, who died in April 1997. Active with the Lutheran Church and numerous community organizations. Taught Sunday School, catechism classes, was Altar Guild chairman and leader of Lutheran Church Woman. Chairman of fund-raising for the Lutheran Home and delegate to Lutheran Synod conventions. She sang in the choir for nearly 50 years. She participated in a special study of the Low Vision Clinic of Johns Hopkins Hospital. Member of All Saints Lutheran Church in Bowie, Md., and the Senior Citizens Group. Survived by one son, Rev. Ray Blanset of Annapolis, Md.; two grandchildren: Deborah Blanset Ridel of Budapest, Hungary, and David R. Blanset of Middletown, N.J.; three great- grandchildren: Tara, Justin and Dylan of New Jersey. Visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home Inc., 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, Md. Visitation at All Saints Church, 16510 Mount Oak Road, Bowie, Md., from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, the time of service. Interment at 10 a.m. Thursday at Somerset County Memorial Park, Somerset.
