  Paul T. "Poppy" Georg, 63, Old Lincoln Highway, Stoystown, died Jan. 14, 2005,
  at Memorial Medical Center. Born Nov. 23, 1941, in Johnstown, son of William
  and Christina (Thompson) Georg. Preceded in death by parents, brother, Richard
  and grandson, Christopher. Survived by his wife of 41 years, the former Mary
  Paul; children, Sharon Pluta, Stoystown, Paul W., Pittsburgh and Robin, married
  to Scott Kovach, Sipesville; and grandchildren, Tyler Workman, William Willis,
  Alysha Pluta and Colby Kovach. Brother of John Georg, Windber, Pat Johnson,
  Ohio, Rosalie Georg, Stoystown and Robert Georg, Florida. Also survived by
  numerous nieces and nephews. Former employee of Spector Freight. Member of
  Jenner Rod and Gun Club. He was an avid hunter and gardener and a beloved
  father, grandfather and uncle. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to
  9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown where service will be held at
  11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Clifford Ott officiating. Interment, Horner - Mt.
  Tabor Cemetery
