George, 72, of Addison RD 1, died Dec. 4, 1980 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Born in the Cove, he was a son of the late August George and Catherine (Shevel) George. He was a retired wreck master for the Union Railroad of the U.S. Steel Company, Pittsburgh; member of the Valley Lodge 613 AF&AM, Turtlecreek; Pittsburgh Consistory and Syria Shrine Temple. He is survived by his widow, Arvella (Martin) George; two brothers, Edward George, Accident, Md.; Judson George, Chandler, Ariz.; three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Hetz and Mrs. Gertrude Glass, both of Accident, and Mrs. Freda Moser, Addison. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home. A Masonic memorial service was conducted by Mountain Lodge 99 AF&AM, Frostburg, Md. Services were conducted in the funeral home by the Rev.
