She was the daughter of Emory and Missouri George and was born in New Baltimore. The George family moved to Meyersdale when she was a child. Mrs. George was a member of the Meyersdale Garden Club; the Ladies Aid Society of Amity Evangelical and Reformed Church, and taught in the primary department of the church school of Amity Church for more than forty years. Mrs. George is survived by one sister, Miss Maggie George, Meyersdale; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Cook, Meyersdale; a granddaughter, Mrs. George Robinson of Alexandria, Va., and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the late home at 2 o'clock last Sunday afternoon, with her pastor, Rev. Nelson C. Brown, officiating. Burial was made in the Reformed Church cemetery in charge of W. C.
