    Joseph R. George, 67, of Meyersdale RD 1, died Sept. 30, 1994, in Park 
  Ridge Medical Center, Rochester, N.Y.  He was born Oct. 17, 1926, in Grosse 
  Pointe, Mich., a son of the late Leo Martin and Angela (Reich) George.  He is 
  survived by his widow, Margaret (Hetrick) George; and four sons:  Gregory 
  A. and Mark R., both of Rochester, David J. of Columbus, Ohio, and Barry L., 
  Meyersdale RD 3; also three grandchildren and a sister, Mary Neilan of Los 
  Angeles, Calif.  He was a member of Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church.  
  Retired engineer for Eastman Kodak Company.  Veteran of World War II.  
  Member of the Meyersdale American Legion and Elks.  Friends will be 
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Leckemby Funeral Home, 
  Meyersdale.  Mass at 11 a.m. Monday in Sts. Philip and James Catholic 
  Church, with Father James S. Bunn officiating.  Interment, church cemetery.  
  Christian Wake service 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
