  GEORGE

    Lawrence C. George, 82, Everett RD 3, formerly of Somerset County, died 
  Aug. 10, 1988 in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Oct. 14, 1905 in 
  Bedford County, a son of the late Franklin Simon and Myrtle (Dishong) 
  George.  Also proceded in death by brothers:  Hayes, Harry, and John; and 
  sisters:  Mary Virginia Cosimo, Susie Burris, May Olson and Dolly Butch.  
  Survived by his wife, the former Sadie Armstrong; two sisters:  Maude 
  Leonard, Bedford; and Blanche Robison, Detroit, Mich.; a sister-in-law, Ruth 
  Male, Somerset; and a number of nieces and nephews.  He was retired from 
  the R.C.A. Rubber Co., Akron, Ohio, and a retired farmer.  Friends will be 
  received 7-9 p.m. today (Friday) in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.  
  Additional viewing Saturday 7-9 p.m. in Dalla Valle Funeral Chapel, Everett, 
  where funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. iwth [sic] the Rev. 
  Edward W. Andrews Jr. officiating.  Interment, Cedar Grove Cemetery, 
  Bedford County.
