George, 63, Bradenton, Fla., (Manatee County), died Thursday, January 27, 2005. She is survived by sons: Steve Burkholder of Bradenton; and Doug Burkholder of Parish, Fla.; three grandchildren: Shawn, Heather and Katie Burkholder of Bradenton; brothers: Miles Trimpey of Las Vegas, Nev.; and Richard Trimpey of Venice, Fla.; and sisters: Marlys Harris of Lancaster; and Linda Wells of Apache Junction, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her father, James Emerson George and her mother, Betty Trimpey. Peggy was born November 21, 1941, and raised in Meyersdale. She graduated from M.A.H.S. class of 1959. She resided in Bradenton, since 1985. She worked as a nurse assistant and waitress. She spent the last 11 years in a nursing home, following a stroke in 1993. Memorial Service was held at 2:30 p.m., February 5, at Casa Mora Nursing Home. Memorial funds may be sent to: Peggy George Memorial Fund c/o Palma Sola Bay Baptist Church, 4000 75th St. W., Bradenton, FL 34209. Covell Cremation & Funeral Center was in charge of arrangements.
