  LEO C. GERBER

    Leo C. Gerber, 69, Rockwood RD 2, died April 23, 1983, in 
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    He was born July 26, 1913, in Johnstown, son of Albert and Myrtle 
  (Karl) Gerber.
    He is survived by his wife, Lucy (Friedline) Gerber, Rockwood RD 2; 
  one son, Richard L., of Rockwood RD 3; two daughters, Mrs. Russell 
  (Donna) Johnson of Rockwood; and Diana Gerber of Rockwood RD 2; 
  one brother, Raymond Gerber of Johnstown; three sisters, Kathryn 
  DeVore of Rockwood; Mrs. Mildred Harris, and Phyllis Kennedy, both of 
  Toledo, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
    Preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.  His death 
  terminates the marriage union of 49 years.  He was affiliated with St. 
  Luke's Lutheran Church.  He was a member of the Operating Engineers 
  Local 66, the Somerset Masonic Lodge 358 and the Pittsburgh 
  Consistory.
    Friends were received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, 
  Rockwood, where services were conducted with the Rev. Donald 
  Krestar officiating.  Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
    In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to the ìBuilding 
  Fund of the Meyersdale Community Hospital or to the Rockwood 
  Volunteer Fire Co.
