  CLARENCE GERHARD

    Clarence Gerhard, 78, of Confluence, died July 21, 1981, in Somerset 
  Community Hospital.  He was born Sept. 24, 1902, in Lower 
  Turkeyfoot Township, a son of Francis and Bertha (Ream) Gerhard.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Ruth Rinehart; and two 
  sisters, Mrs. Esther Rinehart and Mrs. Reba Firestone, both of 
  Confluence.
    He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Confluence 
  VFW Post No. 7250.
    Friends were received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence 
  where funeral services were held with the Rev. Allen Kinsey officiating.  
  Interment, Confluence Baptist Cemetery.
