  GRACE MAE GERHARD

    Grace Mae Gerhard, 89, of New Kensington, formerly of East 
  Pittsburgh and Meyersdale, died Oct. 16, 1983, in New Kensington.
    She was born April 4, 1894, in Glade City, daughter of the late Simon 
  and Amelia (Kritzburg) Beal.
    She was preceded in death by husband, D. Paul Gerhard; and these 
  children:  Charles, Tampa, Fla.; Homer, of Meyersdale; Ernest, 
  Somerset; Jack and Woodrow, both of Los Angeles, California; James 
  of East Pittsburgh; Kenneth of North Versailles; Mrs. June Whyte, 
  Bloomington, Calif.; Mrs. Phyllis Yanetsko, Portville, N.Y.  Mrs. Mabel 
  Deshong, Tucson, Ariz.; Mrs. Irene Nesbit of New Kensington; Mrs. 
  Sadie Yenchi, Monroeville; Mrs. Florence Divelbiss, Mentor, Ohio; Mrs. 
  Marcella Burdell, Yureka, Oreg.
    She was a member of the Calvary United Church of Christ, Turtle 
  Creek; the V.F.W. and Moose auxiliaries of Meyersdale.
    Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where 
  services were conducted with the Rev. Gail E. Tymeson officiating.  
  Interment, Union Cemetery.
