Gerhard, Nelson

"Nelson Gerhard" Aged 66 years, died at his residence at Somerset, recently, 
following a brief illness of heart trouble. He became ill and died before 
medical assistance could be secured. Mr. Gerhard was a son of Jacob and 
Catherine Brougher Gerhard and removed to Somerset from Lower Turkeyfoot 
Township many years ago. He is survived by his widow and five children -  Jacob, 
of Somerset, Freeman, of Kingwood, John, of Meyersdale, David, of Cairnbrook and 
Francis, of Confluence. Two brothers, J. B. of Somerset and William of Kingwood 
- and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Snyder of Rockwood, Mrs. Susan Heckler, of 
Milford Township also survives.
