   Shirley D. Gerhard, 87, Somerset, died June 20, 2007, in Somerset. Born Nov. 22, 1919,
  in Stoystown, she is the daughter of the late Marian (Baker) Buchanan. Also preceded in
  death by five sisters and four brothers. Survived by husband, Edwin E. Gerhard; daughter,
  Dawn Mitchell, Somerset; grandchildren, Renee and Johnny Mitchell Jr. Sister of James
  Buchanan, Levittown; and Donna DiNardo, Somerset. Member of Grace United Methodist
  Church. Friends received from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home, where a service will be held 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Eric G. Raygor officiating.
  Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Somerset "In
  Touch" Hospice, 223 S. Pleasant Ave., Suite 103, Somerset, PA 15501.
