  Helen Marie Gerhardt, 93, Somerset, died Nov. 3, 2005, at Somerset Hospital.
  Born June 30, 1912, in Jennings, Md., the daughter of Charles F. and Minerva
  (Brenneman) Faidley. Preceded in death by parents; husband George Ephriam
  Gerhardt Sr., who died May 29, 1988; son Douglas Keith Gerhardt; daughter Janet
  Louise Gnagey; brothers, Paul and Frank Faidley; sisters, Ethel Miller, Ruth
  Hetrick, Orpha Wiley, Mildred Houpt, Hazel Faidley, Dorothy Pyle and Pauline
  Arnold. Survived by sons, Roger W. Gerhardt, and friend Connie Merritt,
  Cleveland; George E. Gerhardt Jr., married to the former Ona Marie Caton,
  Friedens; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Betty
  Coleman, Dayton, Ohio. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and a 1930 graduate of
  Somerset High School. Friends were received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 1
  p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Linda McElroy officiating. Interment Somerset County
