  GERHART
  
    Irene E. Gerhart, 79, of Garrett died Dec. 26, 1998, at Meyersdale
  Medical Center.  Born July 27, 1919, in Garrett, a daughter of the late
  Edward and Myrtle (Thompson) Sheeler.  Also preceded in death by three
  brothers and one sister.  Survived by her husband, John W. Gerhart; two
  daughters, Joan M., wife of William F. Sembower, Stoystown, and Maxine G.,
  wife of John Montgomery, Mechanicsburg; and a son, John E. Gerhart, married
  to the former Connie Yoder, Seville, Ohio.  Also 6 grandchildren and 5
  great-grandchildren.  A sister of Zola Sheeff, North Royalton, Ohio.  A
  life member of the Garrett United Methodist Church.  Friends were received
  Sunday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be
  conducted at 11 a.m. Monday (today) with Pastor Craig L. Lyman
  officiating.  Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.  Memorials may be made
  to the Garrett United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, Garrett, Pa.
