  GERHART
  
  Mary E. Gerhart, 78, of Meyersdale RD 1, died Aug. 24, 1984, in Meyersdale
  Manor.  Born Sept. 21, 1905, in Greenville Township, a daughter of the late
  Fred and Annie (Baer) Arnold.  Beloved wife of William E., ending a marriage
  of 58 years.  Beloved mother of Ralph, Parma Heights, Ohio; Anna Nelson,
  Pittsburgh; and Ruth Sperry, Somerset.  Beloved mother-in-law of William
  Nelson and Ruth (Pugh) Gerhart; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren;
  also a number of nieces and nephews.  A sister of: Leetta Baer, Greenville
  Township; Leora Wilhelm, Pittsburgh; Harvey, Meyersdale; Frank, Frostburg,
  Md.; and Owen, Greenville Township.  Preceded in death by three brothers:
  Clyde, William and Albert Arnold.  A member of the United Methodist Church
  of Meyersdale, and the women's society of the church.  Friends are being
  received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be
  conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Ray Gnagey officiating. 
  Interment, Union Cemetery.
