  ROY A. GERHART
  
    Roy A. Gerhart, 59, of Clay Street, Meyersdale, died Aug. 13, 1974, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born Oct. 4, 1914, in Meyersdale, he was a
  son of the late Clyde and Sadie (Mull) Gerhart.  He was also preceded in
  death by a son, Danny, in 1969.
    He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served for two and
  one-half years, and has been custodian of the First United Methodist Church
  of Meyersdale for 27 years.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Pauline Livengood; a daughter,
  Barbara, wife of Bruce Shrum, Aspinwall; one grandchild; and the following
  brothers and sisters: John and Roger Gerhart and Mrs. Norman (Anna) Boden,
  Garrett; William Gerhart, Meyersdale; Mrs. Curtis (Thelma) Clites,
  Torrance, Calif.; and Mrs. Hubert (Ruth) Bowers of Harrisburg.
    Funeral service was held Thursday morning, Aug. 15, in Price Funeral Home
  with Rev. Paul Snyder officiating.  Interment in Union Cemetery.
