    Ruth E. Gerhart, 79, Painesville, Ohio, and Confluence, died April 26, 2008, in
  Somerset Hospital. Born Oct. 1, 1928, in Markleysburg, a daughter of Playford and Violet
  (Ault) Fike. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Harold Ray Gerhart and brother, Roy
  Fike. Survived by daughters, Debra Widdowson and husband, Paul, Painesville; and Barbara
  Anderson and husband, John, Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren, Paul Widdowson Jr., Amanda
  Olvera, and Katie Anderson; and a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Olvera; also a brother,
  Ray Fike, Markleysburg. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and
  11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of service Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence.
  The Rev. Dean Hay Jr. officiating. Interment in Jersey Cemetery. Family suggests memorial
  contributions to the Humane Society of Somerset County, P.O. Box 182, Somerset, PA
