  GERHART
  
    William E. Gerhart, 78, of Meyersdale, died June 13, 2001, at Conemaugh
  Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born May 7, 1923, in Meyersdale.  A
  son of the late Clyde and Sadie (Mull) Gerhart.  Also preceded in death by
  his wife, the former Mary Jane Baker.  Survived by two children: William E.
  Gerhart Jr. and his wife, the former Marilyn Strope, Meyersdale: and Wanda
  L. Gerhart, Fayetteville, N.C.  Also three grandchildren: Brett, Angela and
  Kelly.  U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.  Owned and operated the G.I.
  Dayroom in Meyersdale from March 1967 to April 1989.  Friends will be
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, where service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev.
  Randy Haulk officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
