  DAVID A. GERHOLD
  
  David A. Gerhold, 81, Cheerful Valley Lane, Stoystown, died Sept. 7, 2004,
  at home.  Born Nov. 3, 1922, in Mercerburg, a son of the late David A. Sr.
  and Maud (Gordon) Gerhold.  Survived by his wife of 27 years, the former
  Betty Jean (Menser) Hauger; children: Donna and David L. Gerhold, both of
  Lancaster; two grandchildren; a brother, Lewis Gerhold and stepchildren:
  Delores Brindle, Tuscon, Ariz.; Carol Holley, Newport; and Robert Hauger,
  Stoystown. Retired Weighmaster for P.B.S. Coals.  Attended Shanksville
  Assembly of God.  Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service at
  1 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  The Rev. Sylvia Baker
  and the Rev. Robert Hauger officiating.  Instead of flowers, contributions
  may be given to Gideons International, P.O. Box 111, Somerset, Pa. 15501 or
  Shanksville Assembly of God, P.O. Box 144, Shanksville, Pa. 15560.
