  GERNEY
  
    Katherine (Klimek) Gerney, 84, of Ligonier, formerly of Florida and
  Hooversville, died May 6, 2001, at Easy Living Estates, Ligonier.  Born Oct
  3, 1916, in Hooversville.  Daughter of John and Annie Klimek.  Preceded in
  death by parents; husband, Stephen, Oct. 6, 2000, and several sisters and
  brothers.  Survived by sons: Rogers., married to Joan Ryan.  Hooversville;
  Wayne R., married to Sharon Benna, Jennerstown; and Glenn A., married to
  Patricia Umberger, Oakdale:  six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren;
  and brother, Joseph of Ohio.  Retired garment worker.  After leaving
  Hooversville, Katherine and Stephen resided in Florida for 27 years.
  Memorial service at noon Sunday at St. Andrew's Evangelical Lutheran
  Church, Boswell.  Larry C. Hoover officiating.  Interment P.O.S. of A.
  Cemetery, Hooversville, Arrangements in charge of Hoffman Funeral Homes,
  Boswell.
