   Mary (Korhut) Gerula, 88, Windber, passed away Feb. 19, 2007, at the Regional Hospice,
  Windber. Born July 18, 1918, in Windber, daughter of Nufer and Catherine (Kolodrup)
  Korhut. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Frank Gerula Jr.; brothers, John and Pete
  Korhut. Survived by these children, Irene Walker, Louisville, Ky.; Christine Shuster,
  Windber; Theadore "Ted" Gerula, married to the former Marian Brukalo, York Springs; and
  George Gerula, married to the former Sandra Eash, Portage; grandchildren, Renee Karem,
  Kimberly Minton, Nicole Bowser, Deanna Bilak, Amy Hannon and Benjamin Gerula;
  great-grandchildren, Paige, Justin, Daren, Kaitlyn, Marcus and Zachary. Sister of George
  Korhut, married to former Pauline Benko, New York; Annie Lehman, Windber; sisters-in-law,
  Agnes Korhut and Margaret Korhut, both of Windber. Mary was a member of the Windber Center
  for Life and loved playing bingo. Member of SS. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, Windber,
  where Mary was a member of the church women's club. Friends will be received from 1 to 9
  p.m. Friday at the William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber, and where Panachida service will
  be held at 8:15 p.m. A brief service will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home
  followed by burial service at 10 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, Windber. The
  Very Rev. Protopresbyter David J. Smoley. Interment church cemetery.
