  OLIVER G. "PETE" GETTY
  
    Oliver G. "Pete" Getty, 87, of Meyersdale, died July 14, 1977, in
  Berlin.  Born February 4, 1890, at Grantsville,Md., he was a son of the
  late Dr. Oliver and Alice (Keller) Getty.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Grace Bowman, and a sister, Mrs.
  Lulu Hostetler of Meyersdale.
    A veteran of World War I, he was the former owner and operator of the
  Gulf service station on Grant Street, Meyersdale.
    Funeral services were held Saturday, July 16, at Price Funeral Home with
  Rev. Lloyd Sechriest officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
