  VIOLA E. GETZ
  
    Viola E. Getz, 82, died January 31, 1984, at the Donahue Manor Nursing
  Home in Bedford.
    Born in Southampton Township, Somerset County, Aug. 27, 1901, she was a
  daughter of the late William B. Kennell and Effie (Lepley) Kennell.  Her
  husband, John B. Getz, died Aug. 18, 1952.
    She was a member of Zion Lutheran and Reformed Church, the Senior
  Citizens of Wellersburg, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Wellersburg
  Volunteer Fire Department.
    She is survived by three sons, Robert L. Getz, Indian Rocks Beach, Fla.;
  Jay W. Getz, Wellersburg; John P. Getz, Hyndman RD 1; two daughters, Mrs.
  Mary Louise Diehl, Manns Choice RD 1; Mrs. Joan P. Murray, Corriganville,
  Md.; two brothers, Albert Kennell, Wellersburg; James Kennell, Hyndman RD
  1: two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Emerick, Hyndman RD 1; Mrs. Jenny Weimer,
  Wellersburg; four grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman,
  where services were conducted by the Rev. Harold W. Crabtree.  Interment was
  in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale, Md.
