  Kathleen B. Gibbs, 63, of Somerset died Dec. 31, 2002 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Feb. 24, 1939 in Philadelphia.  A daughter of Donald
  Vastine and Kathleen (Lochrie) Booz-McIlvane.  She is preceded in death by
  parents, brothers, Donald V. and David L. Booz.  Survived by children: R.
  Scott Gibbs married to the former Sue Kendall of Somerset; Kellie Davis
  Gibbs, wife of Cornelius deBruin of Gouda, The Netherlands; granddaughters
  Samantha and Sara Gibbs; sister of William H. Booz of Lynchburg, Va.;
  sister-in-law Trudy Booz of Kutztown, and numerous nieces and nephews.  A
  1959 graduate of Somerset High School.  Received her bachelor's degree in
  education from Penn State University and did post graduate work at
  California University of Pa.  Member of St. Francis-in-the Fields Episcopal
  Church and attended Trinity Lutheran Church.  She was administrative
  assistant for seven years with Area Agency on Aging of Somerset County. 
  Also member of Somerset Garden Club, Welfare League, College Club of
  Pittsburgh and Laurel Highlands Scottish Society.  No visitation or
  viewing.  Services will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at Trinity
  Lutheran Church, Somerset, with the Rev. Susan H. Yatta, and Rev. Fr. J.
  Mark Zimmerman officating.  Private interment Grandview Cemetery.  Please
  omit flowers.  Family requests contributions to Make-A-Wish Foundation of

  Cancer Society of Somerset, 168 W. Union St., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
