  GIBSON
  
    James Russell Gibson, 79, of Indian Lake died Jan. 17, 1994, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Sept. 26, 1914, in Johnstown.  Son of the late Ord P.
  Gibson and Lillian (Anstead) Gibson of Johnstown, who survives.  Preceded
  in death by brothers, Kenneth and John Gibson, and grandson, William D.
  Gibson Jr.  Also survived by his wife of 57 years, the former E. Martha
  Mitchell; three sons: James R. Gibson, Savannah, Ga.; William D. Gibson,
  Sparta, N.J., and Kim R. Gibson, Somerset; 11 beloved grandchildren and
  three great-grandchildren.  Member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church in
  New Baltimore.  Retired sales representative for Moore Business Forms of
  Ontario, Canada.  Member of Lakewood Golf Course.  Friends will be received
  from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home.  Funeral
  service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Roman
  Catholic Church, Somerset, Msgr. Samuel Tomaselli officiating.  Interment,
  Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.
