  Marietta L. (Smith) Giffin, 81, of Boswell, died June 26, 2003 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 6, 1921 in Meyersdale a daughter of Dewey and Alma
  (deLozier) Smith.  Preceded in death by parents; husband of 56 years,
  Milton E. on July 31, 1999, son-in-law Larry Benshoff, and brother Chester
  Smith.  Survived by daughter, Darlene L. Benshoff of Erie; son, Milton
  Barry married to former Diana "Dee" Unger of Collegeville; grandsons, Brian
  and Jeffrey Benshoff and Eric Giffin; step-granddaughters, Tina Dean, and
  Tami Barnes; step-great-grandsons, Gunnar and Troy Dean; sisters, Helen
  widow of Ray Weigle of Friedens, Roberta Ling-Kaulp Mansfield, Ohio and
  Emma Jean married to Ray Charlton of Hollidaysburg and sister-in-law Rose
  (Kozel) Smith of Acosta.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 
  Member of the Boswell Church of God.  She enjoyed knitting, reading, and
  singing with her family.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Saturday at Hoffman Funeral Home Allegheny St., Boswell, where a service
  will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday.  The Rev. Gregory Stauffer officiating. 
  Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.  Memorial donations in Marietta's
  name may be sent to the Boswell Church of God, Main Street, Boswell, Pa.
