    Milton E. Giffin, 81, of Allegheny Street, Boswell, died July 31, 1999,
  at Somerset Hospital.  Born April 17, 1918, in Boswell.  Preceded in death
  by father, Earl S. Giffin, and mother Ethel Mae (Rice) Giffin-Mickol,
  stepfather, John Mickol, and sister, Alice Shaffer.  Survived by wife, the
  former Marietta L. Smith; children, Darlene L. Benshoff, Erie, Milton
  Barry, married to former Diana "Dee" Unger, Collegeville; grandsons, Brian
  and Jeffrey Benshoff and Eric Scott Giffin; also numerous nieces and
  nephews.  Attended Boswell Church of God.  Former member of Jenner Rod &
  Gun Club.  Observed 56th wedding anniversary Jan. 17, 1999.  Retired Crane
  Director for Bethlehem Steel Corporation, Johnstown Works with over 37
  years service.  Avid hunter and fisherman.  Also enjoyed playing various
  musical instruments and was a member of several local bands through the
  years.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Monday at Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m.,
  Tuesday, Rev. Gregory Stauffer officiating.  Interment Jenner Cross Roads
  Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Boswell Church of God,
  Main Street, Boswell, Pa. 15531.
