  Francis A. Gilbert, 86, Hollsopple RD 2, died Oct. 27, 1987, at Memorial
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Oct. 10, 1901, in Jenner Township, son of Henry
  and Margaret (Beener) Gilbert.  Preceded in death by parents; son-in-law,
  Newton E. Fyock, died Sept. 10, 1985; two sisters and two brothers. 
  Survived by wife, former Mabel A. Blough, and these children:  James,
  married to former Eugenia Pilc, Tacoma, Wash.; William, married to former
  Patricia Kenny, Downingtown, Pa.; Millie Fyock Boswell RD 1; Walter,
  Hollsopple RD 2; and Doris, wife of Robert Becony, Boswell RD 1; 12
  grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.  Member
  of Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church, Jennerstown.  Retired employee of former
  Crane Company Johnstown.  Observed 61st wedding anniversary July 30,
  1987.  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday
  at Hoffman Funeral home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be held
  at 11 a.m., Saturday, with the Rev. Jesse E. Wolf officiating.  Interment,
  St. James Cemetery.
