Also preceded in death by son Paul, brother, Grant and sister, Idella Manges. Survived by wife the former Mary Catherine Baker, children: Elwood E. and Jay Franklin both of Girard, Ohio, Roger L. of Gray, Ralph E. of Boswell and Denise of Munnington, W.Va. Grandchildren: Paula Morris, Shawn Gilbert, Lisa Conklin, Jackie Cowles, Lori and Michelle Gilbert, Shawn and Mandy Leskovich and Andria. Also four great-grandsons. Brother of Opal Viola Yorkony of Boswell, Virginia Swank of Friedens, Fae Baker of Michigan, Helen Fye of Listie, Emily Harkcom of Somerset, Alma Bittner of Ferrellton, Dwight Gilbert of Stoystown. A special niece Sondra of Pittsburgh and a special so. Harry of Michigan. Member of First Christian Church of Somerset, American Legion, Army veteran of World War II and former mechanic for J.E. Herring retiring after 30 years of service. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Daniel F.
