   Mary V. (Johnson) Gilbert, 84, Gilbert Hollow Road, Hollsopple, died Aug. 21, 2006, at
  Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, Somerset. Born Feb. 16, 1922, in Jenner Township, daughter
  of Noah and Eliza Ann (Snyder) Johnson. Preceded in death by parents; sons, Donald C. and
  Robert H.; three sisters; and four brothers. Survived by husband of 64 years, Charles H.;
  daughters, Margaret "Dolly," married to David Slowak, Somerset, and Mary C. "Chic,"
  married to Michael C. Callahan, Johnstown; five grandchildren; and eight
  great-grand-children. Sister of Leonard "Bill" Johnson, married to the former Mary
  Hornick, Boswell RD; Betty Jane, married to Elmer Horner, Somerset Pike; and Ellis
  "Mooney" Johnson, married to former Irene Berkheimer, Boswell RD, Member of Laurel
  Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jennerstown. She enjoyed making ceramics, gardening,
  fishing and building puzzles. She also assisted her husband in painting his woodworking
  crafts. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Hoffman Funeral Home &
  Cremation Services, Allegheny Street, Boswell. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of
  service at 11 a.m. Friday at Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church, the Rev. Jacquelyn S. Ahern
  officiating. Interment, Mount Zion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to
