Gill, 88 Somerset, formerly of Berlin, died April 11, 1995, at Patriot Manor. born March 4, 1907, in Baltimore, Md., daughter of George and Lillian (Tucker) Salter. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Russell S.; infant daughter; sister, Mary Coffman, and Brother, Ernest Salter. Survived by daughters: Joyce Ann, married to John A. Beachley, and Eloise, married to John Long, both of Berlin; grandchildren: John Beachley II, Nancy (Beachley) Froelich, David Long and Debbie (Long) Lehman; also nine great-granddaughters. Graduate of Towson State College, Baltimore, Md. She was a former schoolteacher in Baltimore and Berlin. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, where she was an active choir member and teacher of catechism. A charter member of Pius Spring Woman's Club. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Carl W. Schwarm officiating.
