Gillette, 81, of Uhl Street, Somerset, died Jan. 14, 1976, in Somerset Community Hospital. He was born Nov. 29, 1894, at Kane, the son of the late George and Emma (Moline) Gillette. Survived by his widow, the former Myrtle F. Palmer: these children: Hubert V., Buffalo, N.Y.; Mrs. Robert (June) Grieve, Irwin: Mrs. Raymond (Phyllis) Dapper, Wilkinsburg; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Somerset V.F.W. He was retired from the A.W. Francis Co. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where service will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m., the Rev. Carl Hull officiating. Interment, Husband Cemetery.
