  GILLINGHAM
  
  Carl D. Gillingham Sr., 46, of Somerset RD 4, died Nov. 26, 1980, at
  Oakland Veteran's Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born Nov. 18, 1934, in Greensburg,
  son of the late William and Irene (Ferry) Gillingham.  Preceded in death by
  one brother,   Gerald.  Survived by his wife, the former Betty Lehman and
  the following children: Carl D. Jr., Somerset RD 4; Mrs. Kenneth (Linda)
  Baer, Greensburg RD 1; Mrs. Robert (Glenda) Harrity, Somerset RD 6; Mrs.
  Stephen (Robin) Jarvis,   Bolivar, Pa.; Teresa, Glenn, Earl and Carla, all
  at home; five grandchildren. Brother of William Gillingham, Somerset; Mrs.
  Betty Montell, Greensburg; Mrs. Patricia Smith, Arlington, Tex.; Mrs.
  Mickey Rayman, Friedens; three half-   brothers: James and Jeff Ferry, both
  of Somerset RD 3; Roger Ferry, Quecreek; one half-sister, Mrs. Beverly
  Reese, Somerset RD 3.  Korean War veteran serving with the U.S. Navy. 
  Member of Somerset American Legion, Teamsters Union. Friends will be
  received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday and
  Saturday. Funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m., the Rev.
  David Huey officiating.  Interment, Sipesville Cemetery.
