    Alice Elaine Gilmore, 82, Somerset, died July 1, 2008, at The Patriot, Somerset. Born
  June 25, 1926, in Somerset, daughter of Richard P. and Mary Ethel (Swank) Flick. Preceded
  in death by parents; husband, Harold Lawrence Gilmore, who died Feb. 3, 1986; and sister,
  Ruby Pearl Flick. Survived by daughter, Marydean Barsis, Somerset; grandson, Landon
  Gregory Barsis, Somerset; sister, Betty Ankney, Sipesville; and niece, Tammy Peterman and
  husband, Bob, Stoystown. Also survived by nieces and nephews. A 1944 graduate of Somerset
  Area High School. Worked until her retirement as a beautician also for Bender Shoe Co. A
  former member of the Somerset Grange. There will be no viewing or visitation. A private
  service will be held Friday at the Hauger- Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. The Rev. Dr.
