  MRS. IRA GILPIN
  
    Mrs. Clesta Gilpin, 61, of Route 2, Grantsville, Md., died December 31,
  1978 at her residence.
    Born in Garrett County, Md., she was a daughter of the late Charles and
  Ida (Bittinger) Meyers.  She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church Jennings.
    Surviving are her husband Ira Gilpin; eight sons, Julius Gilpin; David
  Gilpin and Roger Gilpin, all of Grantsville; Kenneth Gilpin, Frostburg,
  Md., Ray Gilpin, Canton, Ohio; Richard Gilpin, Girard, Ohio; Grady Gilpin,
  Akron, Ohio; Clinton Gilpin, Windham, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Juanita
  Wilt, Grantsville; Mrs. Lois Sweitzer, Girard, Ohio; Mrs. Maxine O'Brien,
  Swanton, Md., a brother, Herman Meyers, Grantsville; two sisters, Mrs. Cora
  Bittinger, Crucible; Mrs. Lucretia Stanton, Grantsville; 24 grandchildren
  and four great-grandchildren.
    Services were conducted in Zion Lutheran Church by Rev. James Mitchell. 
  Interment, Trinity Cemetery, New Germany, Md.
