  GIMBLE
  
    Evelyn Gimble, 81 of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Meyersdale, died Feb.
  22, 1997, in Phoenix.  Born March 31, 1915, in Shaw Mines, a daughter of
  the late John and Mary (Dickey) Sherman.  Also preceded in death by her
  husband, Stephen J. Gimble, and a brother John R. Sherman.  Survived by two
  daughters, Stephanie Jones, Silver Spring, Md., and Mary Ann Stoltz. 
  Phoenix; three grandchildren:  Michael, Caitlin and Amanda; also a nephew,
  John Sherman, Dallas, Texas, and cousin John J. Kamalsky, Meyersdale. 
  Member of SS. Philip and James Catholic Church, Meyersdale.  Friends
  received from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday with Msgr. Timothy J. Swope
  officiating.  Interment, SS Philip and James Cemetery.
