Gindlesperger, 58, Rockwood RD 1, died Aug. 9, 1972, in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born March 13, 1914 in Milford Township, she was a daughter of Lulu (Walker) Meyers of Berlin and the late Ward B. Meyers. Also surviving are her husband, J. Irvin Gindlesperger, and these children: William W., Rockwood RD 1; Louise, wife of Michael Marks, Williamsport: and Miss Rita M., LeRaysville. She was a sister of Eleanor, wife of T. C. Sipe, Rockwood RD 1; and Wilma, wife of Wilbur D. Miller, Somerset. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, where she served as Sunday School instructor and on various committees and belonged to Lutheran Church Women. Mrs. Gindlesperger was a member of Milford Grange 1744, and county, state and national granges. She was secretary of Pomona Grange for 15 years and served as a 4-H Club leader. A graduate of Shippensburg State College, she was a former teacher in Middlecreek and Milford Township schools and a substitute teacher in Rockwood School District. Funeral service was held Saturday afternoon in Messiah Lutheran Church, with Pastor Gene Abel officiating. Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park, under the direction of Wilbur D.
