Gindlesperger, 62, of Stoystown RD 1 (Jenner Crossroads), died unexpectedly the evening of Jan. 2, 1975. Born June 26, 1912, in Shipshewanna, Ind., son of John and Florence Pearl (Poynter) Gindlesperger. Preceded in death by father, March 16, 1968. Survived by mother, Hollsopple; widow, the former Cora Belle Swope; and these children: David, married to the former Jane Thomas, Fairfax, Va.; Lynn, wife of James Cox, Peach Bottom, Pa.; and Barry, at home; three grandchildren. Brother of: Mrs. Laura Moors, Brimfield, Ohio; Vera, wife of Robert Stutzman, Cramer, Pa.; Mrs. Georgia Young, and Mary, wife of Wesley Boyd, both of Johnstown; Rebecca, wife of Richard Penner, Deland, Fla.; Mrs. Becerly Bradley, Glen Burnic, Md.; Mrs. Shirley Miller and Florence, both of Hollsopple; the Rev. John C., Arcola, Va.; and Ronald, married to the former Janet Lohr, Hooversville RD 1. Member of Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church, Jennerstown, where he was a member of the Worship and Music Committee and former councilman. Longtime Scoutmaster of Troop number 144, Boy Scouts of America, Jennerstown. Recipient of Silver Beaver Award and Vigil Member of the Order of Arrow, Nachamawat Lodge. Adviser of the Penns Woods Council, Boy Scouts of America. President of Boswell Lions Club and Chief clerk of the car department of Johnstown Plant, Bethlehem Steel Corp. Member of Bethlehem Management Club. Friends received after 7 p.m. Friday and until noon Sunday at the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell. Body will be removed to Laurel Trinity Church for a viewing from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Jesse E. Wolf. Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
