Gindlesperger, 71, 41 Ashtola Dr., Windber, died May 9, 1986, at Windber Hospital. Born Oct. 18, 1914, in Sipesville, son of the late Lemon and Daisy (Ankeny) Gindlesperger. Preceded in death by infant sister, Virginia. Survived by stepmother, Mabel (Barker) Gindlesperger, Thorntown, Ind.; widow, the former Violet Ohler; and these children: Shirley, wife of Kenneth Beynon; Carol, wife of Oscar Hutchison; and David, married to the former LuAnne Deyarmin, all of Windber; also six grandchildren and three great-granddaughters. Brother of: Bessie, wife of Dearl Smalley, and Paul, married to the former Betty Gabler, both of Chambersburg; Lester, married to the former Eleanor Fisher, Central City; Edward, married to the former Kathryn Ryan, and Ray, both of Somerset; Merle, married to the former Marian Fisher, and Kenneth, married to the former Betty Clark, Quecreek; Dean, married to the former Mary Martinez, Boswell RD; and Lee, Winchester, Va. Stepbrother of Joseph and Wilbur, both of Thorntown, Ind. Former mine foreman for Florence Mining Company, New Florence, Pa. Friends were received Sunday and will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Shank-Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev.
