Gindlesperger, 84, Fayetteville, passed away Dec. 21, 2007 at his home. He was born May 26, 1923 in Sipesville. He is the son of Lemon and Daisy Gindlesperger. He was the husband of the late Betty (Gabler) Gindlesperger. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and a former companion, Vera Gabler. He is survived by his daughter; Paula (wife of Dennis) Woodal of Chambersburg and his two grandsons; Cuyler and Dylan Upperman. He is also Survived by a sister; Bessie Smalley of Chambersburg and four brothers; Lester, Kenneth, Dean and Ray Gindlesperger all of Somerset. Paul is also survived by his friend and caregiver, Carrie Hughes of Chambersburg. He retired from Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in 1985. He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. He was a life member of the VFW Post 1599 and the American Legion Post 46 in Chambersburg. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend to everyone that he knew. He loved gardening and baseball. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., 725 Norland Ave. and one hour prior to service on Thursday. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. The Rev. Tom Willis officiating. Interment Air Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church, 61 W. Main St., Fayetteville, PA 17222. The Honor Guard of VFW Post 1599 will conduct graveside military services.
