He was born June 23, 1922, in Somerset, son of Nappie (Grimm) Gindlesperger and the late William Gindlesperger. He was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister. He is survived by his mother; wife, the former Ruth Baker; and one son, Dean, Washington, Pa. Also survived by one grandchild. He was the brother of George, and Clarence, both of Berlin; and Mrs. Gene (Winifred) Christner, Shanksville. He was employed at Bethlehem Steel, Johnstown, and was an Army veteran of World War II; a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ; Robert Walker Post 4333, V.F.W., the Berlin V.F.D., and the Persian Gulf Command Veterans Organization. Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where services were held with the Rev. Charles W. Sigler officiating. Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
